Cotton Shed Donation

Harry Frost was born in Waterfoot and became a Master Craftsman in joinery and electrical drawing, later going on to teach, working in schools across Manchester. Throughout his lifetime, with wife Sheila, Harry lived in Bolton, Irwell Vale, Waterfoot and finally in Rawtenstall.
When Sheila and Harry's son Miles had sadly passed, Harry approached his friend James Neary to take responsibility in distributing his estate to local charities on his behalf, when the time came. James knows of Cotton Shed's important inclusive work and performances locally in Haslingden.
Harry sadly passed away on the 11th December 2021 and James has chosen many worthwhile charities in the Rossendale area, especially those who include a volunteers within their organisation. James hopes that the legacy of Harry and Sheila will help others as a direct result.
Cotton Shed are delighted to announce that we have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries of this legacy and would like to thank both James for choosing our organisation and the Frost legacy for such generous support. As we re-launch our creative programme throughout 2022, this donation means a great deal to us all.
